A book is a book….and it’s also the title of my collaboration with the writer and poet Jenny Bornholdt. This book captures the emotion and wonder felt by voracious readers and book lovers of all ages.
I had the wonderful job of visually exploring Jenny’s musings on books and stories. We were both helped along by some clever children who contributed their ideas on the subject too. Who could have guessed what happens to a book when accidentally dropped into a volcano, for example?
Here are some pages from the book, which is a beautifully produced, small-format, jacketed hardback. It’s co-published by Gecko Press and Whitireia Press and is available on line and in shops from November 2013.
