I'm proud to have been involved in UNESCO's tenth edition of the Education for All Global Monitoring Report which was launched in Paris this month.
I was asked by the EFA Global Monitoring Report team in Paris to come
up with a visual representation of this complex story. My brief was to
graphically represent the findings of this report with a single image. The "Pathways to Skills" image (see below) succeeded in capturing this criteria.
We decided to integrate elements from this image into the cover and
so for the tenth anniversary of the report (above) my illustrated cover
design marks a departure from the previous reports' photographic covers.
This project has involved some very challenging but satisfying
problem solving for me. The resulting illustrations will hopefully
assist in the aims of the report to inform, influence and sustain a
genuine committment towards Education for All.
