New Year – New Adventures

Wishing everyone the best of things for 2017 and hoping we all have the chance to step into an exotic adventure or two.

Warm Memories Of Summer

For Cassandra King’s article in Coastal Living Magazine, reflecting on picknicking on the sand, riding the waves, and coming of age in a magical Florida beach town.

Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls

I was commissioned to illustrate two portraits of inspirational women for the book Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls. This is Millo Castro Zaldarriaga, b. 1922, the Cuban drummer who dared to drum when it was taboo for a girl to do so. She joined Cuba’s first ever all-girl dance band at the age of 10 and went on to become a world famous musician.

Firefighters and Mental Health

My illustration for Baylour Scott & White, about the work being done to extinguish the stigma of mental health conditions among firefighters.

The Sam & Lucy Fables

After the seeds of an idea were sown by friend and author Alan Bagnall, a book has grown! The Sam & Lucy Fables is full of subversive wit as two pigs intervene and help those silly grown-ups with all their little problems in life.
Published by Makaro Press.

Ein Buch ist ein Buch

I was delighted to receive a copy of “Ein Buch ist ein Buch”, the German version of my book with Jenny Bornholdt. Published by Sannsouci Verlag, it’s a beautifully produced little book.
